Marko Srdjevic (1977, Belgrade, Serbia) completed his basic and higher musical education at The Isidor Bajic Musical School in Novi Sad, Serbia. The most of his musical and interpretation skills he gained from eminent professors and guitar performers Srdjan Tosic (Academy of Arts, Belgrade, Serbia), Zoran Krajisnik (Academy of Arts, Novi Sad, Serbia), and Jozef Zsapka (Academy of Music, Bratislava, Slovakia).
He received his master degree in musical arts at the Academy of Music (Hudobna a Tanecna Fakulta Vysokej Skoly Muzickych Umeni) in Bratislava (Slovakia) in the class of professor Jozef Zsapka. During his studies, he was recognized as prominent guitarist and got engagements from The QSI - International School in Bratislava, and from The Center for Arts and Culture where he was giving lectures of classical guitar to young students from all over the world. After completing master studies, he worked as an assistant at the Academy of Music - Department of guitar in Bratislava.
The record of Marko Srdjevic live performances has it's origin in early nineties and includes performances in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Subotica, Pozarevac, and Smederevo (Serbia), Banja Luka (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Vukovar (Croatia), Gyor (Hungary), Brno (Czech Republic) and Bratislava, Nitra, and Kosice (Slovakia). In 1997 Marko Srdjevic recorded his first CD.
He attended classical guitar interpretation courses of professors Fogaroshi Bella (Hungary), Srdjan Tosic (Serbia), John W. Duarte (England), Nikita Koshkin (Russia), and master course of world wide recognized classical guitar composer and performer Dusan Bogdanovic (USA).
Marko Srdjevic won classical guitar awards at the Republic of Serbia Musical Competition (Belgrade), and Petar Konjovic International Musical Competition (Belgrade).
Since 2004 Marko Srdjevic lives in Novi Sad (Serbia) and has permanent employment as a professor at the Department of guitar in Subotica School of Music.
